ASAP to PSAP
In 2011, UCC became the first monitoring center to participate in the ASAP to PSAP program. The Automated Secure Alarm Protocol (ASAP) is a national service that saves time, improves accuracy, and increases efficiencies between the monitoring center and PSAP’s (now referred to as ECC’s). This means that critical life safety signals and accurate information is processed in seconds, not minutes, insuring that complete and accurate information is transmitted every time.
