Teresa Gonzalez

President

Teresa Gonzalez joined the electronic security industry in 1983 as an alarm dispatcher. Throughout her career, she has worked in many aspects of the central station and management, including business operations, personnel management, technology, acquisitions and general management. In 1997, she joined Team UCC and was promoted to President in 2008. Teresa has been involved with The Monitoring Association (TMA - formerly CSAA) since 2000. In 2016 she was presented with the Stanley C. Lott Memorial Award for her achievements as chair of the education committee and committed support as a board member.

Ron Bowden

Director of Sales & Dealer Development

Ron Bowden comes to UCC with over 35 years in the Security Industry. He has a wide range of experience at all levels—sales, operations, management, and acquisitions, serving in capacities from entry level to owner/operator. Ron joined UCC in 2014 as Director of Dealer Development. Today, he works with UCC Dealers to help them grow and manage their businesses. Ron is a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Mike Lamb

Administration & Compliance Manager

Michael Lamb joined UCC in December 1995 and has held several positions during his tenure including dispatcher, dispatch supervisor, trainer, director of training and human resources, and VP/project manager. In his current role, he heads up billing, licensing, facility management, and new dealer administration. Before joining UCC, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps and graduated from the Military Police Academy.

Carolyn Escamilla

Director of Operations & Site Manager

Carolyn Escamilla joined UCC in 1993 and has risen through the ranks with dedication and commitment. She ensures customer satisfaction through great service to UCC’s customers.  In March of 2006, Carolyn was promoted to operations manager, responsible for data entry, dealer billing, dispatch, customer service and administrative operations. As director of operations and site manager, she leads a team of more than 80 dispatchers and customer service representatives.

David Palacios

Data Entry Manager

David Palacios joined UCC in 1985. He grew in responsibilities and was promoted to operations manager in 1988. In 2004, he became UCC's first representative in the newly created department of dealer relations. As the manager of dealer support and data entry, Dave and his team work closely with all dealers to solve any day-to-day issues that arise. Dave embodies UCC's commitment to dealers' complete satisfaction.

Kathryn Schultz

Marketing & Sales
Coordinator

Kathryn Schultz joined UCC in May of 2001. She started off as a dispatcher, and quickly moved through the ranks, serving as supervisor of the graveyard and swing shifts. After supervising in dispatch, Kathryn worked in customer service and data entry departments before moving to marketing in February of 2008. Kathryn currently works closely with the President and Director of Sales & Dealer Development, organizing UCC’s events, training workshops, and advertising and marketing efforts.

Michael Gelvin

Training Manager

Michael Gelvin joined UCC in April of 2002. He started as a dispatcher, and was soon promoted to supervisor of the evening shift. In April 2009, he was appointed to assistant central station manager. During that time, he worked closely with the operations department, specializing in reports and statistics to help maintain staffing and service levels. In 2017, Michael was promoted to training manager, and now oversees UCC's hiring process.

Lacey Lester

Human Resources Generalist

Lacey Lester joined UCC in November of 2007 as a Recruiter in the Human Resources Department. Lacey rose up thru the ranks during her tenure with UCC and in 2014 was promoted to lead the HR Department. Lacey brings with her over 15 years of HR experience.

Nicole Dotterman

Data Entry Supervisor

Nicole Dotterman joined UCC in August of 2007 as a dispatcher and was quickly recognized as a key team member.  With her attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills, Nicole quickly moved up to Dispatch Supervisor before making the move to data entry in 2015 where she currently works closely with Dave Palacios in managing UCC’s data entry department and automation specialists. Additionally Nicole facilitates all new dealer acquisitions to make the process of moving accounts to UCC as smooth as possible for dealers and their customers.

Dennis White

Account Executive

Dennis White became a UCC team member in September 2009, bringing with him nearly a decade of wholesale central station experience. With a focus on growing a retail account base, wholesale accounts, and bulk acquisitions, Dennis was also instrumental in the creation and implementation of retail dealer programs. Prior to the security industry, Dennis spent 24 years as a manufacturer’s representative for the Southwest region in the automotive aftermarket industry.

Sarah Salazar

Account Executive

Sarah Salazar joined UCC in September of 2002 as a dispatch and customer service representative. Quickly recognizing her talent in assisting dealers, Sarah was promoted to UCC’s dealer development department as an account manager where she continued to help dealers grow and manage their businesses and became one of UCC’s licensed CE instructors for the state of Texas. In January of 2021, Sarah was promoted to account executive where she uses her extensive knowledge of UCC and our dealer development program to bring new dealers online and sell UCC’s services.

In addition to her work at UCC, Sarah is also heavily involved in supporting the security industry on state and local levels by serving on numerous association boards and committees including, but not limited to: South Texas Alarm Association (STAA), Texas Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (TBFAA), and False Alarm Reduction Associations (FARA) where she was awarded the W. Rex Bell Associate Member of the Year Award in 2016 for her outstanding work and contributions.

Javier Mata

Account Manager

In 2002, Javier started his career in the alarm industry with Counterforce (now Red Hawk) in Houston, and learned all aspects of the contract central station business including billing, collections, customer service, and dealer support. When UCC acquired Red Hawk in 2014, Javier came highly recommended and joined forces with UCC in the dealer relations department. After thriving there for 3 years, Javier now provides excellent service to UCC dealers in the newly created dealer development department. As account manager, he uses his years of industry knowledge to help dealers grow their businesses and manage attrition.

Caitlin Smith

Dealer Support

Caitlin Smith joined UCC in January 2013 with a background in customer service and restaurant hospitality. After starting as a dispatcher, UCC quickly recognized Caitlin’s talent for handling complicated problems professionally with both dealers and end users alike. She was promoted to Dealer Support in 2017. Caitlin pulls reports quickly, researches account histories, and helps dealers adjust processes to take care of their customers efficiently and successfully.

Tim McKay

Dealer Support

Tim McKay joined UCC as a dispatcher in 2013 and quickly moved up through the customer service and data entry departments. During that time, Tim built an extensive knowledge of UCC’s technical infrastructure and third party services. In 2017, Tim joined the dealer support department and earned our Chairman’s Award of Excellence in both 2018 and 2019. Tim is a tremendous help with data entry projects and often takes the lead on IT issues.
