UCC Monitoring Announces Agreement to Launch Xanboo Security Enhanced service
New York, NY, February 1, 2009 United Central Control, Inc. (UCC), a central station industry leader, today announced an agreement to launch Xanboo Security Enhanced services to its base of security dealers. As part of the relationship, licensed UCC security dealers are pre approved for membership into the Xanboo Dealer Program.
Xanboo Security Enhanced service will enable UCC dealers to provide their existing and new customers IP based enhanced services in addition to their traditional alarm monitoring offerings. The enhanced services include Internet or cell phone access to a virtual keypad that controls all functions of the alarm system. In addition to increasing RMR, this service creates real value and offers a competitive differentiator for UCC’s dealers.
Also included is the ability to view live video, control lighting and receive alerts from sensors. The integrated system records and stores pre/post alarm video on the user’s password protected account residing on Xanboo servers. Stored video can also be viewed on an optional DVR located on the user’s premises.
Xanboo’s technology is the only “no touch” system in production today that is truly plug-and-play and does not require any changes to the user’s network connections. Xanboo’s line of IP cameras, water and temp sensors, lighting and thermostats are all wireless and affordable. Xanboo also recently added an analog-to-IP video converter that allows the use of any analog camera with the system.
