Don Munford

Don Munford
CEO

Mr. Munford has over forty years of experience in the security industry, beginning in 1963 with the Air Force’s Electronic Security Command. In 1970 he founded and operated Omnibus-M, Inc a security company with guard, patrol, alarms and its own central station. He also served part-time a as reserve peace officer from 1972 to 1976. Mr. Munford closed his own central station to become a client of UCC in 1985, and in 1987 he joined UCC as an owner, Vice President and General Manager. Mr. Munford served at UCC as President from 1998 to 2008 and is currently serving as CEO.

Richard Hain


Richard Hain 

Executive Vice President

Dick Hain is a veteran in the security industry, starting out as a salesperson for Omnibus-M, Inc. in 1976. After two years with Omnibus, he became Vice President, Chief Operations Officer and was instrumental in establishing a central station and alarm division. During his over 30 year career with them, Mr. Hain was also the head of operations for a guard and patrol division, and is currently the Chief Executive Officer for Omnibus. He joined the UCC Team in 1987, and is currently serving as the Executive Vice President and member of the UCC Board of Directors. Prior to working in the security industry, Mr. Hain was in Air Force Intelligence for 22 years. He served as President, Vice President and Treasurer of the Greater San Antonio Alarm Association.


Teresa Gonzalez
President and General Manager

Teresa Gonzalez has 22 years of experience in central station operations and technology. Teresa has spent over 15 of those years managing personnel, business operations and technical advancements in the central station. Before joining the UCC management Team in 1997, she served as West Coast Regional Director of Central Station Operations for National Guardian in San Francisco, California. She was promoted to General Manager of UCC in February 2004, to Vice President and General Manager in November 2005 and then to President and General Manager in 2008. With her expertise and experience in technology Teresa also oversees and leads the UCC technological team to ensure the latest and most efficient cutting edge technology is in place. Teresa is involved with and enjoys working with the CSAA Operations and Education committees.
Mark Matlock

Mark Matlock
Senior Vice President

Mark Matlock was hired as Vice President of Marketing & Sales in July 2002 to take UCC to the next level, and was promoted to Senior Vice President in January 2008. He is also a seasoned professional with a Bachelors in Science degree from the University of Houston,1987. Prior to joining UCC, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a wholesale alarm monitoring central station from May 1994 to June 2002. He is a State Licensed Level One and Continuing Education Instructor. He has served as President of the Houston Burglar & Fire Alarm Association, as President of the South Texas Alarm Association, as Director and Vice President of the North Texas Alarm Association, as Region 4 Director for Texas Burglar & Fire Alarm Association, and as Membership Director of the Texas Burglar & Fire Alarm Association.

Robert Cuyler

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Robert Cuyler joined United Central Control in November 2002. His over 30 years of financial experience encompass being a banker, information technology manager, operations manager, strategic planning task force leader, financial analyst and reporting supervisor, and small business consultant. He obtained a Bachelor's in Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. Bob was promoted to Vice President and CFO of UCC in November 2005.

Carolyn Escamilla

Operations Manager

Carolyn Escamilla joined United Central Control in 1993. She grew in responsibilities moving through the ranks from dispatch operator to Data entry Supervisor. In addition to overseeing the Data entry department she was responsible for dealer billing, new dealer conversions and she worked closely with customer and dealer relations. Her aptitude and expertise in customer service resulted in her promotion to Customer Service Manager in 2003. In March of 2006 Carolyn was promoted to Operations Manager and is responsible for managing the Data Entry Department, Dealer Billing, Dispatch, Customer Service and Administrative operations. Her dedication and commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction is Carolyn’s number one goal. Carolyn’s positive example and great leadership motivates her team to provide the highest level of service to UCC’s dealers and customers. Carolyn participates and attends the CSAA Operations Management Meetings.

Tracey Ritchie

Tracey Ritchie
Director of Marketing and Dealer Relations

Tracey Ritchie joined UCC in September 2002.  She has extensive experience in Marketing and Public Relations. Tracey earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Public Relations and one in Sociology from Southwest Texas State University. She oversees UCC’s marketing efforts, as well as heading up the dealer relations department. Tracey is currently serving as Membership Director for the Texas Burglar & Fire Alarm Association.

Michael S. Lamb

Director of Training and Human Resources

Michael Lamb joined UCC in December 1995 and has been a SIA Certified trainer since 2000. He was responsible for implementing the SIA Operator Training Course at UCC in 2001 and the SIA Online course in 2003. In 2004 his leadership abilities, employee relations and commitment to customer service were instrumental in selecting Mike for promotion to Director of Training and Human Resources. Mike’s consistent efforts in training with the SIA On-line Operator Training Course also earned UCC the CSAA Five Diamond Certification in 2004. Before joining UCC, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps and graduated from the Military Police Academy, where he served from 1989 to 1994. Mike is also involved with attending and speaking at the CSAA Operations Management meetings and committees.

 Mark McCall

Mark McCall 
Director of Information Technology

UCC hired Mark McCall in July 2007.  Mark will be overseeing the Technology department and he will be responsible for IT projects such as equipment and power redundancy, back-up central station facility, new receiver technology, video and access control monitoring and other IT related projects.  Mark has worked in Information Technology for over twenty years, including serving as a Service Manager and Operations Manager for a large computer system integrator.  Previous to joining UCC, Mark worked in the security industry as a Central Station Manager and IT/Project Manager, where he was responsible for central station operations, including dispatch, customer relations, billing, collections and data entry.

David Palacios

Senior Dealer Relations Representative

David Palacios joined United Central Control in 1985. He grew in responsibilities and was promoted to Operations Manager in 1988.  In 2004, he became UCC's first Representative in the newly created department of Dealer Relations.  He works very closely with UCC's dealers and provides hands on care to solve any day to day issues that may arise.  Dave Reflects UCC's commitment to their dealers' complete satisfaction with all UCC services. Dave served as treasurer of the Greater San Antonio Alarm Association 1993 to 1995.

Danny Little

Account Executive

Danny Little joined the UCC team as an Account Executive in July 2003. He has over 20 years of alarm experience including co-owning a very successful alarm company in Houston for fifteen years. For the three years prior to coming to UCC, he worked for a wholesale alarm monitoring central station, as a Dealer Recruiter from 2000 to 2003. Danny has served as Vice President of the Houston Gulf Coast Alarm Association and as Vice President of the South Texas Alarm Association.

Chancy Pray

In September 2007, UCC hired another highly respected industry expert, Chancy Pray. With over thirteen years of alarm industry experience under his belt, Chancy brings with him a wealth of experience.  For the past 6 years he has been in business development and dealer relations for various dealer funding programs.  He is well versed in both security sales and operations and his experience on the retail side of the business allows him to understand the day to day operations and challenges of our clients.  Chancy will be working from Dallas and he will be responsible for the growth of UCC’s market share in North Texas and surrounding markets.

Joe Carr

Dealer Relations Representative

Joe Carr joined UCC in April of 2006 in the Dealer Relations Department as a dealer advocate acting as a liaison between UCC‘s different departments and UCC’s Dealers.  He has a long and varied history in the alarm industry formerly working for a large national company specializing in bank security systems and was a Regional Sales Manager for a national alarm dealer program.  Joe spends much of his time providing hands on Aegis and VRT training to UCC Dealers in their office or in formal training classes such as Ethics or other Continuing Education classes, as he is a Texas DPS licensed instructor.  Joe is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Central Texas Chapter of the Texas Burglar and Fire Alarm Association.

Mary Edmonson

Dealer Relations Representative

Mary joined UCC in March of 2007. She comes to UCC with 15 years of industry experience, including wholesale monitoring, dealer billing and account funding. Mary is the Dealer Relations representative for South East Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida and surrounding areas. She works closely with dealers on everything from training to false alarm reduction. Mary is also a Texas DPS licensed instructor and teaches CEU classes. She served as Executive Director for the National Security Association from 1995 – 1998, and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Houston Gulf Coast Alarm Association.

Sarah Salazar

Dealer Relations Representative

Sarah Salazar has five years of central station experience working with UCC. Originally hired as part of our Dispatch team, she was quickly moved up through Customer Service to join Dealer Relations in 2004. After working as a Dealer Relations assistant for over two years, Sarah was promoted to Dealer Relations Representative; where she spends more of her time face to face with our dealers to train them on services, help them with questions and anticipate any issues. Because she worked in operations before moving to Dealer Relations, Sarah has an extensive knowledge about UCC’s technical services and operations, which when paired with her natural disposition for customer service makes a great representative for dealers to count on.

Helen M. Rogers

Helen Rogers has 9 years central station experience at UCC. Helen moved through the management ranks quickly being promoted to Shift Supervisor in 2000 and Dispatch Manager in 2003 before being appointed to her current position as Training Coordinator in October 2005. Helen has been a SIA Certified Trainer since 2002. Helen has a heart for customer satisfaction. She is a bi-lingual, self motivated individual with a lot of energy. Her management experience, commitment, dedication to excellence and passion for working with people, has helped make a positive difference at UCC from training techniques to curriculum. Helen also attends and participates in the CSAA Operations Management meetings.
